NHSCOT highland games festival banner harp competition

Clàrsach, the Scottish Gaelic word for small harp, dates back to the 8th and 9th centuries.

While the harpers at the NH Highland Games & Festival are not that old (!), they share a passion to learn and play this ancient instrument marking its place in both ancient and modern Scottish history.

Celebrate the wonderful resonant sound of harp music all weekend in the Kinsman Room at the Mountain Club.Check the Festival Guide for the scheduled Harp Circle in the lobby of the Mountain Club. This is a free event. Consider attending the Harp Concert on Saturday evening. This concert is a ticketed event.
