SCOTTISH HARP
Clàrsach, the Scottish Gaelic word for small harp, dates back to the 8th and 9th centuries.
While the harpers at the NH Highland Games & Festival are not that old (!), they share a passion to learn and play this ancient instrument marking its place in both ancient and modern Scottish history.
Celebrate the wonderful resonant sound of harp music all weekend in the Kinsman Room at the Mountain Club.
Congratulations to the winners of the Harp Competitions!
