NH Highland Games & Festival
The NH Highland Games & Festival is one of the largest and most diverse Highland Games held in North America. This celebration of Scottish Heritage will be held from September 19-21, 2025 at Loon Mountain Resort in the White Mountains of New Hampshire at the beginning of fall foliage season in New England.
Join us this September as we celebrate 50 years of all things Scottish! This 3-day festival includes live music, Highland Dance, heavy athletics competitions, sheep dog trials, demonstrations, pageantry, massed bands and special birthday surprises. Try-It classes all day long in street curling, stone lifting, and more. Sign up for a seminar and explore topics ranging from Scottish cooking to genealogy. Fun for all ages with special kids programming and opportunities to shop in Vendor Village.

- The Caledonian Clash, an innovative new format for our heavy athletics competition is back for it’s second year. Catch the action on both Saturday and Sunday as teams compete for the Caledonian Cup. The Caledonian Clash will feature five teams, each comprising of seven athletes, who will compete in seven traditional heavy athletic events: the Braemar Stone, Open Stone, Heavy Weight for Distance, Light Weight for Distance, Weight Over Bar, Sheaf Toss, and fan favorite, the Caber Toss. The winning team will be awarded the Caledonian Cup trophy.
- Calling all Pipers! – Help Us Beat the Guinness World Record for most pipers in a single performance on Saturday, September 20 during the 50th Annual NH Highland Games & Festival. Pre-register today and help us become the new title holder!
