Please choose from one of the following dates:\nThursday, April 9 from 7 – 8pm\nThursday, June 11 from 7 – 8pm\nThursday, December 10 from 7 – 8pm\nThis is a Virtual Event via Microsoft Teams.\nWhether you’re just beginning your family history journey or looking to break through research roadblocks, this seminar will give you the tools and confidence to move forward.\nThis session focuses on two essential goals:\n\nTracing your family from North America back to Scotland\nTracing your family within Scotland\n\nIn addition, you’ll learn proven research methodologies and discover trusted sources for accurate historical records. As well as gain clarity on which sources should be taken as a guide and not as a source of historically accurate data. Ronald will provide a live demonstration of how to use ScotlandsPeople and other Scotland-based resources, plus share recommendations for software to help you organize and preserve your family data.\nSeminars will take place online via Microsoft Teams.\nCost is $25 per seminar. He is the author of the widely acclaimed The Genealogy of the Clan MacLean, now in its third edition. He is a member of the New England Historic Genealogical Society, the Scottish Genealogical Society and the Mull Museum. Ron is the Senior Genealogical Curator for ScotsNewEngland. He is the Consulting Archivist for Sir Lachlan MacLean, 28th Chief of Clan MacLean at Duart Castle, Isle of Mull, Scotland.\n \n
