The duo describes their music as “cutting-edge fiddle and cello explorations of Scottish and global music.”\nThis is the third in a six-part retrospective concert celebrating the music that Alasdair and Natalie have recorded over the past 20 years. Each concert in the series contains totally different music from any other shows.\nThis event is being produced by the Mandolin Concert Livestreaming Platform in partnership with NHSCOT. A portion of ticket proceeds from Highlander’s Farewell will benefit NHSCOT – so be sure to use our link when purchasing your tickets!\nAbout Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas\nThe musical partnership between consummate performer Alasdair Fraser, “the Michael Jordan of Scottish fiddling”, and brilliant Californian cellist Natalie Haas spans the full spectrum between intimate chamber music and ecstatic dance energy. Over the last 20 years of creating a buzz at festivals and concert halls across the world, they have truly set the standard for fiddle and cello in traditional music. They continue to thrill audiences internationally with their virtuosic playing, their near-telepathic understanding and the joyful spontaneity and sheer physical presence of their music. After you receive this email, you will need to go back onto Mandolin’s website and create an account. This is very simple and just involves entering your name and email address. This account is how you will access the show. A little before 7:30pm on March 12th, log in to the account you created and click on the link to the show.\nBy creating this account, you will also have access to their chat line. This is a great way to send the artists questions prior to the show.
